    Customer Booking Checklist 

    This checklist is designed to help you make sure your RecTimes link is ready to share with the public, how to setup and allow customers to view, request or book and pay online.

    Sharing your Rectimes.app Link

      Under the rental section on your website create a Book Here option that you can attach your RecTimes.app link to, this will allow your customers to view and book online

      Attach and share your RecTimes.app link to your Social Media pages (ex: Facebook, Twitter, etc)

    How to Book

    Setting up How to Book tab:

    Customers can read instructions on how to book at your facility in the left hand slide out menu.

    If you'd like them to contact you directly for a booking, you can give details here.

      Go to Settings -> General Settings -> Display Settings -> Customer Instructions (How to Book)

      Enter booking instructions and contact information for your customers to see.

    Payments

    Setting up Payment Options- Stripe & Bambora
    Create either a Stripe or Bambora account.
    Once created, you need to add your account information under  Settings -> Payment Systems -> Payment Integrations. After you've entered in your account information and tested, turn on  Use Live Account and change  Show Credit Card Online to Yes and Save. Feel free to reach out to us for testing help.

    Setting up Credit Card Payments

    To allow customers to pay online with a credit card go to Settings ->  {Venue} -> Customer booking options -> Turn Allow Credit card booking on and Save.

    Setting up View-Only and Request to Book

    View only allows the public to see what's available, but they must contact you to book.
    Request allows the public to select an available time and request it for approval by Admin.

    To set up View only: go to  Settings ->  {Venue} -> Customer booking options -> Make sure Allow booking request, Allow pay later booking, and Show CC payment request are all set to No, turn off Allow credit card booking and Save.


    To set up Request only:  go to  Settings -> {Venue} -> Customer booking options -> Set Allow booking request to Yes and Save

    To Approve a request: A request booking will show up in a red box instead of blue. Go to the User/Admin bookings list in the upper right to view a list of your requests, select the request for approval and change the request to Unpaid.

    To notify the customer of the approval, select Notify in the bottom left corner- you can add any message you'd like to include in the email.


    You can also approve the request on the go by clicking on the booking right from the calendar, and changing the request in the drop down menu to Unpaid.
